Introduction

Welcome to Coastal Electrical & Data. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.

Services

Coastal Electrical & Data provides electrical contracting services, including but not limited to installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Estimates and Quotations

  • All estimates and quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • Prices quoted are subject to change based on the final scope of work and any unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any additional work or changes to the initial scope will be quoted separately and must be approved by the client before commencement.

Appointments and Scheduling

  • Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring that the premises are accessible at the scheduled time.
  • Any changes or cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

Payments

  • Payment terms will be outlined in the quotation and invoice.
  • Full payment is required upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Late payments may incur additional charges.

Warranty and Liability

  • All work performed by Coastal Electrical & Data is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of completion.
  • The warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover materials unless specified by the manufacturer.
  • Coastal Electrical & Data is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.

Safety and Compliance

  • Coastal Electrical & Data adheres to all relevant Australian safety standards and regulations.
  • Clients must ensure that the work area is safe and free from hazards before the commencement of any work.
  • Any pre-existing issues or non-compliance discovered during the course of work will be communicated to the client and must be rectified at the client’s expense.

Confidentiality

  • Coastal Electrical & Data respects the privacy and confidentiality of our clients.
  • Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without the client’s consent.

Termination of Services

  • Coastal Electrical & Data reserves the right to terminate services if the client breaches any of these terms and conditions.
  • Clients may terminate services at any time, provided that all outstanding payments are settled.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Australia.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Coastal Electrical & Data reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients and will take effect immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels.
